The following are the various newsletters available to ACBOA members. Click on the newsletter of interest to view the latest edition.
This is a bi-monthly publication dedicated to keeping ACBOA members current on legislative activities and other developments in the nation’s capital on matters of interest to the small business entrepreneur. We will track the trajectory of relevant legislation from its introduction in either house of Congress to its enactment into law. In addition to monitoring the legislative process, we will be alert for court decisions that may impact the small business community. By these means we will attempt to be the eyes and ears of ACBOA members in the frenzied environment of Washington, D.C.
This monthly newsletter is oriented toward the field of equal employment opportunity. The National EEO Reporter is the conduit by which much insight and information on EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) law and other aspects of the delicate area of employer-employee relations will be regularly communicated to the ACBOA membership. Major emphasis will be placed on on-going litigation in this field and on how such litigation may impact the small business operator. Attention will be periodically given to rules and other announcements issued by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the federal agency that administers and enforces the employment discrimination laws.
This newsletter’s objective is to explore other areas of interest to ACBOA members not covered by The Washington Report and The EEO Reporter. Barring the occasional overlap among these newsletters with respect to important developments emanating from the Washington, D.C., community, The Review is designed to delve into “uncharted waters” in the realms of law, government regulation, economics, politics, and business entrepreneurship in general. The only limitation in this regard is that the explored areas be relevant and of interest to the small entrepreneur. The Review will be published once a month.
